Ziyad was offered a position as a Deputy in Weld County. After working in the jail for 5 years, he has earned this position!!! We are so proud of him and he is beyond excited. He has wanted to do this for a while so we are so happy he has this opportunity. He currently is in POST classes (he has to be POST certified to work on the streets), he graduates the first week of May so instead of working at the jail and attending POST at the same time (which was already a big time commitment), he will now be concurrently attending in house academy at the Sheriffs dept and attending POST classes. SO.... it's gonna be a little rough for the next couple months.
Here's his schedule so you can understand better:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: in house academy 8-5 POST class 6-10,
Thursday and Friday: in house academy 8-5
Saturday POST 8-5
Sunday POST 8-5.
So you're probably thinking, "he has no days off".....yep!!!!!!!
Hopefully we can make it out of this alive!!!!
