San Diego trip

We try to visit Ziyad's family at least once a year but it usually  about twice a year. Now that Aiden is older and we have to pay for a seat for him, it's become a little harder to make it over that much. This year we went over after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. We haven't been to San Diego during the  Christmas season for years. It was so odd hearing Christmas music playing places while I was wearing a tank top and sandals...it just didn't seem right. I actually missed the cold and snow. I can't believe I'm saying that but it didn't feel like Christmas with palm trees, sun and flip flops. We did really enjoy doing Christmas things with family. Aiden had a chance to see Santa with his cousins, look at Christmas lights, bake cookies and enjoy the shenanigans of elf. We also got a attend a wedding for family, go to Nathan's birthday party and see seaport Village. Living so far away from family, we miss out on holiday family time so that was a nice change! and of course, while we were there, we had to go to Seaworld!!

I'll break up the posts since there are so many picutres! LOL!

Here's some pictures from Seaport Village, nathan's birthday and the wedding!

Thanksgiving

We had a laid back Thanksgiving this year which was nice. I cooked a yummy turkey and my sister and dad came over for the festivities. We bought a buffet about a month ago so we finally have my mom's china that was given to me after she passed away. Prior to this, my sister kept it at her hosue because we didn't have storage space. So this is the first time we (not  Aiden) have used the china in our home, that was special to me.

Our Elf has arrived!

Today we welcomed Aiden's elf "two". Aiden named him himself if you didn't guess. We can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans he will get in to.
Why is there toliet paper on the door?
