Our Family Blog: Christmas!

It's Christmas morning!!! Aiden crawled into our bed around 6:45am and wanted to stay in bed with us. We asked him if he wanted to go down stairs to see if Santa had come and he declined, stating that he wanted to stay in bed. This will probably be the last year he says that so we took advantage.
After laying around a bit, he was eager to see want Santa brought him. We went downstairs and opened our stockings. After the stockings were reveleaved we munched on some homemade cinnamon rolls (a Christmas breakfast tradition). Aiden was not shy about unwrapping his presents, he flew threw them! The last present was probably the most exciting for Aiden. He's been really, really into the Polar Express movie.His eyes lit up when he opened his last present and it was silver bell from Santa's sleigh with a note from Santa. What a great surprise!!! Santa really knows exactly what Aiden wanted.
It had been a dry Winter in Colorado so it was a wonderful surprise to wake up to a white Christmas!

Later in the day my sister and Dad came over for dinner and we exchanged presents and played in the snow. Another great Christmas!!!
